Your intro is designed to get you comfortable before you ever step onto the main floor. It includes a 15-minute private 1-on-1 intro, a full all-ranks session, and official training gear.

We're a modern Krav Maga and self-defense gym in Virginia Beach built for adults. We don't teach martial arts as a sport, we don't chase points, and we don't do traditional belt ceremonies. We use a realistic, constraint-led approach to teach practical close-range striking, clinch fighting, grappling, verbal de-escalation, and weapons defense for real-world threats.

What should I wear to my first class?

Comfortable athletic clothing you can move in, like a t-shirt and workout shorts or leggings. Avoid exposed zippers, buttons, or pockets that could catch. We train barefoot on specialized mats, so no shoes needed.

What does the class schedule look like?

Main all-ranks classes run Monday through Thursday evenings, with two class blocks each night between 4:30 PM and 8:00 PM. Members also have Friday evening and Saturday morning sessions, including women's-only grappling, open mat, and grappling classes. Intro sessions are offered Monday through Thursday only. How does progression work? Do you use traditional belts?

We don't run a rigid belt curriculum, ceremonies, or forms. Progression here is built on measurable competence. I'll never ask you to show me technique number one for some sequence. Everything is assessed on how well you perform under varying levels of pressure. You advance as your ability to solve chaotic, pressure-tested problems under live resistance improves.

It depends on your membership. Our billing is transparent and simple, with no hidden fees. Shorter-term options offer more flexibility, while our long-term memberships include an initial commitment period. If your situation changes, reach out in writing and we'll work with you. Cancellations and pauses are handled case by case at our discretion.
