Do I need experience to start?

How does the intro class work?

The intro class is $30 and includes a 15-minute private session, an hour-long All Ranks class, a 30-minute goals consultation, and an official Katalyst training t-shirt.

What is Katalyst Kombatives?

Katalyst Kombatives teaches modern Krav Maga and blends it with wrestling, jiu-jitsu, and dirty boxing. We apply those skills to weapons problems and anti-assault situations so your training stays grounded in reality.

What is the class schedule?

What should I wear to my first class?

Come prepared to train in bare feet. Wear a comfortable crew neck t-shirt and athletic bottoms such as shorts, leggings, or sweatpants. No jeans. Think standard weightlifting gym attire.

How does belt progression work?

You earn your white belt after 10 All Ranks sessions, which unlocks sparring and grappling access. Progression from white to black belt typically takes 6 to 10 years. This is not a fast-track belt system.
